Blake
Aaron Ross was born on June 12, 1985, he was a software developer from
America who is now his work would be known as the Mozilla browser, He
started the project of making the Mozilla Firefox browser along with
fellow named Dave Hyatt, and as well as the Firefox project began
spreading by
Asa Dotzler, who was working as a contractor at the Mozilla Foundation
in 2005. He was nominated as the top Rave Award for Wired magazine, as
opposed to Larry Page, Sergey Brin (owner Google) and Jon Stewart. He also became part of the Hot list for the Rolling Stones in 2005.
Born in Miami, Florida, he made his first website at the age of 10 years. He started programming when he was still in junior high school and began contributing to Netscape after Netscape become Open Source. Blake Ross began working at Netscape Communications Corporation at the age of 15 years, at which time he was just entering high school at Gulliver Preparatory School, after which he is applying to Stanford University.Ross is now better known as the owner of Mozilla Firefox with Hyatt. During their stay in Netscape, Ross was disappointed with the browser that he did prior to the orders given by America Online, Ross and Hyatt wants the browser smaller, easy to use and that's the beginning of the birth of Mozilla Firefox browser. Open source projects are gaining momentum and popularity and in 2003 all sources for development projects dicurahan Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird.
The release in November 2004, when Ross was 19 years old, Firefox quickly seize market share (especially from Microsoft Internet Explorer), the 100 also downloaded within one year.
Ross now spends a lot of time to build some projects with some of the employees who once worked at Netscape, Joe Hewitt (creator Firebug which has a great responsibility in the Firefox interface and code). Ross and Hewitt is working to make Parakey, a new user interface that connects the distance between the Desktop to the Web. Ross reveals some technical details about the program and his company as shown on the cover of the IEEE Spectrum in November 2006.
